Lelo Boa Pleasure Ties Lelo is a sex toy brand synonymous with both quality and style so waiting for one of their first adult accessory products was something of a thrill in itself. I have owned a few Lelo Sex Toys and to be honest once the sting of the high purchase price passes you are in possession of a bedroom friend you swear you would have paid double for in the first place. Lelo Boa Pleasure Ties are a soft bondage restraint system for couples looking to introduce a little bondage play in the boudoir and being a lover of the luscious on the adult market today and an exponent of spicing up activities in the bedroom considered myself the perfect person to try these new designer bondage ties.
I love the feel good factor when you hold your Lelo Sex Toy and receiving Boa Pleasure Ties was no exception. The soft bondage accessory arrives in the designer gift box which screams 'I think your special' and lifting the lid reveals the sumptuous delights within, you truly feel like a kid in a sweet shop. The silk ties grab your attention as the jacquard pattern catches the light and the silk just calls for its length to be trailed against your skin. The quality is breath taking and you really want to try them on in front of the mirror in order to admire Boa's beauty against your body. The construction of Lelo's pleasure ties are unusual as the restraining part consists of a pouch of fresh water pearls that thread through a metal loop thereby using the weights to close the material around your wrist or ankle. The opulent construction of Boa appeals in that the pouch contains 'pearls and the metal is nickel free therefore the feel good factor abounds but my reservations began once I realised how to use the pleasure ties and the proof had to be in the pudding. My husband and I enjoy tying each other to our bed posts so the first test was how restraining were the bondage ties. In short the restraint provided by Lelo's Boa was minimal as the weight of the pouch isn't enough to hold your wrists or ankles in place. The restraining part of Boa is more of a token gesture and would either suit couples looking for the softest form of bondage available or perhaps somebody who wanted a boudoir accessory to provide a backdrop to seduction rather than play an active part in a fantasy or scenario. The suggestion by Lelo that you shut the pouched end inside a doorway worked much better and certainly did the trick but limiting your bondage play to every doorway in the house is neither practical or incredibly sexy especially if you have to worry about foot traffic pulling at the other end! Boa Pleasure Ties would make a fantastic sexy gift especially when presented for a romantic evening away somewhere special. The silken ties would suit the ambiance of a posh hotel and intimate love making but if you want something for stronger bondage play or something that actually holds your lover in place then you will be disappointed Score:6/10 Beautiful but impractical much like a 6" pair of designer heels Tester: Sarah Rooke
