Lelo Insignia Isla Review

Lelo Isla

Lelo Isla arrived at my door and having tried lelo sex toys before my expectation was very high! Yes from the packaging it all looked very familiar with signature Lelo luxury gift box and accessories. Once the lid was gently lifted though things looked very different. The design of Isla stands out as deviating from the normal design of a sex toy. The curves and rolls look quite artistic with a hole in the handle end of the toy that is quite eye catching. My first thought was “ how do I use this vibrator?” Isla feels firm and this is due to a Silicone coated ABS core. The outer edge is smooth silk like silicone whilst the contrasting sides and core is a gold coloured plastic, the look is pretty stunning. The solid part of the vibrator gives way to a looped hand in which you can fit your fingers and hand; my first thought was that it gave the user something to hang onto. I charged Isla for its first outing, which takes a while, but once ready promised 4 hours of vibrator heaven. The controls sit flush on the top of the vibe with 3 control buttons. The + & - control the intensity of buzz whilst a third button takes you through a series of vibrator functions. Isla’s power feels very good and more importantly for me the noise level was incredibly low. Having 3 children it is imperative that I can use my sex toys when they are asleep in bed without disturbing them and Isla allowed me to do this with ease. The buttons on this luxury vibrator are easy to use and the variety of function is good. I preferred the constant high speed for masturbation but my partner and I enjoyed isla during foreplay, scrolling through the programmes.

Isla is good for clitoral stimulation using either the bulging tip directly on the clitoral nub or the thinner part of the vibrators shaft along the labia length. Using a little water-based lubricant ensures the silicone slides over delicate skin and Isla has more than enough power to stimulate. Using isla for vaginal penetration is also pleasurable and with the curve in the vibrators length means that you can press the tip against the vaginal wall and hunt out the g spot for fantastic orgasms. The looped end to isla means that you can grip the vibrator easily and employ twists and turns during masturbation. My husband used this designer vibe on me and also found it incredibly easy to use, allowing him to reach the desired area with a flick of the wrist.

Lelo isla comes with all charging equipment and a satin storage bag if that appeals but best of all the toy is completely waterproof which means much fun in the tub. The lockable button on the vibe is great for when you don’t want the vibrations to go off and the 10-year quality warranty certainly puts your mind to rest when spending such a large sum on a sex toy. We loved Isla and have our eyes on the other sex toys in the range. My husband is saving hard for my next birthday and it’s certainly top of the list!

Lelo Gigi Review

Lelo Gi-gi Review

Reviewing Lelo Sex Toys is always a joy and when Gigi arrived I had high expectations of the g spot vibe. Indeed you know when a Lelo Pleasure Object has arrived at your door as its presentation is so exquisite that a smile alights your lips before the sex toy has even left the box. Yes I know that every review of a Lelo product harks on about the packaging and one could argue that it ends up in the bin but that’s just the point, with a Lelo vibrator it doesn’t. The satin pouch is perfect for keeping the toy dust and sunlight free whilst the inner heavy lid box is ideal for storage of the vibe and re-charging paraphernalia. I would go as far to say that Lelo tops the designer sex toy market with its presentation and I love it!

Gigi itself is marketed as a g-spot vibrator and even in the light of recent speculation surrounding this female pleasure spot I have found mine and believe me enjoy it. The overall shape of Gigi is somewhat unusual with a plastic handle end with controls and a silicone ‘using’ end with hammer type shape to the tip. The controls feature a plus and minus button to control the speed of the vibrator and arrows which then scroll through Gi-gi’s various functions. The Vibrator works in the same way as the iris in that you can choose your function and then alter the vibration intensity if you wish. The functions of Gi-gi itself are pulsing, throbbing, gradual increase and decrease as an escalation. They all feel fabulous and Gi-gi certainly offers enough variation for the money.

The Gigi has a small kink at the tip and a gently curved flat end. And this simple, elegant shape ultimately proves to be the true genius in Gigi’s design. This kink is adept at curling in for some G-spot stimulation, and the flat face also makes for a handy clitoral stimulator. Gigi’s size is just right for either application, so you are not straining to reach for either spot, although obviously both at once is not possible with just one toy.

Gi-gi is on the small side when compared to other Lelo Sex Toys and it is clear that this vibrator is designed for a very specific use. If I were buying a vibrator for usual penetration I would want something longer and thicker to really satisfy. The handle is a little short and when I first began exploring the g spot found it difficult to keep a good grip especially when lubricant was on my hands. The shaped tip gives a different type of g spot massage and it takes a while to find a comfortable position for the massage. The end of the hammerhead does feel good against the g spot but if your sensitive area is too far up the vaginal wall you may have trouble locating it with Gi-gi. The shaft itself feels lovely and the seam free silicone is like silk when a little water-based lubricant is applied. I wouldn’t recommend attempting to simulate the movement of sex with Gi-gi as the hook itself would feel uncomfortable but as you would with a g-spot vibrator a gentle circular movement is good and the vibrations feel intense.

The thing I loved about Gi-gi is that the tip could also be used for clitoral massage. By turning the toy with the flat end against the clitoris the vibrator worked a treat for a sensual massage. As the handle length is pretty short it allowed a good reach and could really be used as a clitoral vibrator as well as penetrative toy. The noise level is brilliant with an almost inaudible low hum under normal conditions and if covered with a blanket or duvet completely silent – well done Lelo!

You can also lock Gi-gi for a trip and the materials used are of course completely body safe

Overall I didn’t like Gi-gi as much as my other lelo toys but with time think we can bond that bit better

Bswish Bcute Classic Vibrator

I love designer sex toys and eagerly awaited the arrival of my Bswish classic vibrator for testing; having never tried a bswish toy my expectations were high. The marketing material and PR surrounding bswish are great, a company crafting sex toys for women with forward thinking concepts, adorable designs and a main stream approach to adult products eliminating any sleaze from your buying process. I was about to try a vibe from their bcute range which was the ‘classic’ version, a mini vibrator perfect for clitoral massage and discreet for travel or sneaking away in the bathroom cabinet.

The presentation of bswish bcute classic is good with a pleasing pink and black box with trendy black and white female photograph that makes you feel good about your choice from a retail therapy point of view. The vibrator wouldn’t look out of place on the shelves of an adult boutique amongst boudoir sex toys brought by discerning ladies. Once the box is opened the feel good factor diminished slightly with a flimsy plastic inner mould with the vibrator sitting one side and the sex toy pouch the other. I suppose saving cost on the packaging allowed the storage pouch to be of a premium quality with bswish logo to one side and lets face it the box goes into the recycling anyway.

My first gripe about the classic vibrator was with the body of the vibe. Bcute classic has a seam running the complete length of the vibrator shaft to the base of each side. When the finger is run along the seam it protrudes enough to want to avoid that area. As much cheaper cylindrical vibrators are completely seam free this left me feeling a little cheated. It would not encourage me to use the vibrator internally (although the small 3” size doesn’t really call for vaginal penetration). The mini vibe has a cap at the base which twists one way for release and battery insertion and then twists back the other way for power. I must add that the first bcute sent to me didn’t work but I won’t deduct any points for this as it happens with even the high-end toys.

The vibration levels are good and the material (aside from the seam) is soft and velvet to the touch. The hourglass shape of the vibrators shaft is good for clitoral massage and with a little sex lubricant slides easily over the labia inducing a satisfying orgasm during masturbation. The petite proportions of bswish’ vibe are also suited to use whilst enjoying love making and I used the bcute vibrator whilst on all fours and it didn’t get in the way of our intimacy or performance. I still had to turn the seam away from my clitoris whilst I rubbed.

I feel that perhaps my expectations were a little high before the bcute classic arrived and having used Lelo Sex Toys for many years perhaps use them as an unfair benchmark. I have a Lelo Mia clitoral vibrator and find it far better and worth the extra £15 to buy. The thing is the bcute classic is practical and if you want to go to the other end of the scale the RO80mm Bullet Vibrator performs better and quickly becomes a staple masturbation aid.

The Silencer

I was expecting one thing from the silencer and that was a lot less noise than most of the vibrators on the market. I use vibrators with my partner during foreplay and even when we have sex on the clitoral area and just as we have to keep our moans and groans to a low level so too do we have to use sex toys that are discreet. We have three children and unfortunately don't live in a stately home whereby a whole wing could be dedicated to our nigh time activities so quiet sex toys are very very important to us. The silencer arrived, a bumpy plastic looking vibrator with what looked to be a twist controlled base. The colour didn't enamour me but to be honest I would go function over form any day of the week.

The Silencer takes C Size batteries which is something of a pain as we can't raid the remote control when the vibes batteries go and it makes the sex toy heavy. The big test came when we loaded her up and turned her on and yes SILENCER is not only artistic license but stretching the truth to the point of untruth. I didn't expect the silencer to be silent as common sense dictates that the motor that drives the vibe has to make some noise but we have had sex toys that are quieter and not marketed as 'silent toys'. On the plus side the size is fantastic for penetration as the girth is big enough to really provide a full feeling. There was a seam running along the length of the shaft which had burrs which needed filing before the vibrator was inserted which didn't say much for build quality. On a scale of noise level I would put the silencer at level 7, which I would consider too high for a quiet sex toy.

Discretion Vibrator Review

The discretion vibrator is cheap so I wasn't expecting it to move heaven & earth. The packaging was good, not cheap & cheerful as expected.

The Vibrator itself was small & discreet exactly as described with the smooth lines giving a curved shaft which immediately brought to mind clitoral vibrator! The controls & battery loader is the steel base which easily unscrews. Once ready to roll the discretion vibe really performs. I have a lady finger which is a similarly low priced vibrator & this little vibe oudid it easily. The vibration level is brilliant & the shape of the vibrators shaft means that the curve fits nicely along the lips for fab clitoral massage. I would say that the noise is ok & definately passed the under the duvet test.

Overall the discretion vibrator was great value for money & I have used it for masturbation & with my partner for clitoral massage during intercourse.

Pure Vibes G Spot Vibrator Review

I am a big fan of G Spot sex toys so was excited about trying the G Spot Vibrator from Pure Vibes. The size seemed very good as I like a G toy with some girth and lots seem to be produced very thin (I wonder if they are trying to maret it to men as a prostate toy aswell). To me this vibrator is a ladies G Spot massager with perfect proportions, the head is also pretty big and the curve is pronounced enough to get a great reach.

When you insert the G Spot vibe you get a full feeling along the length of the vagina which is a bonus to me when I am massaging the G. The shaft is firm and will take a good deal of pressure towards the curve to give a brilliant massage. The vibration level is brill and  I had no trouble climaxing. This vibe doesn't leave you feeling like you haven't quite reached the right spot and it allows you to bend it into position (I broke the last G Rabbit I tested).

The dial control is good and my preference as its easy to control whilst inserted and the material feels reallly nice and the note says the G Spot vibe is phthalate free too.

Great value for money.

Bubble G Stick Vibrator Review

The Bubble G stick was posted on my mat and as I have been a fan of the G for a while was happy to see the G pleaser arrive. The packaging is typical Toy Joy with in-offensive simple presentation (I have been a fan for a while!) The G Stick is a light toy in the hand with a very slender shaft to this g spot vibrator. The battery compartment and loading at the base is simple to use and controlling whilst in mid flow is manageable.

The shape of the toy is perfect for G Spot massage as its not the length of the vibrator for me but the actual head thats important. When I enjoy G Spot stimulation I concentrate the work to the head where a firm massage is needed to experience orgasm. The vibration level was good and at full power milked by G spot with ease.

My criticisms would be that the Bubble G stick isn't finished to perfection with a few raised seams on the body and around the head. Also more flexibility in the shaft is preferable from a personal point of view as being able to bend a G Spot vibrator a little helps to reach the g spot easier. Plastic wouldn't be my choice of material for a g spot vibe. The Bubble G is fully waterproof and I did take it in the tub with success. The noise level isn't that bad for a cheaper toy and Toy Joy do tend to do a better job with the lower priced sex toys. In review I would say that the bubble G stick is a value sex toy which did successfully reach my G!

Vivid Soft Sleeve Vibrator Review

The Vivid Soft Sleeve Vibrator I recieved was called Taya, it appeared to be a lady in the adult industry but that wouldn't have convinced me to purchase this vibrator. Once out of the package I could really get to feel what the soft sleeve was all about. The core of this sex toy is a solid vobrator just like the basic plastic vibrator you see for sale. The impressive part of this toy was the outer sleeve which slips over the vibrator like a condom over a penis. The material does feel as soft as skin and warms to the touch quickly. The fit is tight and wouldn't come away from the vibrator itself, in fact you would need to roll it back to remove.

The batteries are inserted in the base with a twist cap which also controls the vibration level. I find these types of control easiest to use especially whilst the vibrator is inserted. The vibration level is good and certainly satisfies even off the highest setting. To insert I found a little sex lubricant helpful as the material does feel very dry to the touch. Once inserted the sensation is good and I could feel the vibrations deep inside. I would perhaps choose a slightly larger vibrator but thats just my preference.

Tiger Vibrating Panties

I have always loved the idea of vibrating panties in public and was really looking forward to the vibrating pants I had bought. The Tiger panties cost me £62 so they were a considerable sum and my expectations were high. The look and feel of the panties is not great, I don't mind animal print but the design did look slightly tacky and the build quality of the controls suited a cheaper sex toy.

The vibrating unit was powerful in the hand and I thought its clitoral stimulation would probably make up for the look of the panties (I certainly wouldn't let anybody take a peek of me in these). I slipped the panties on and inserted the bullet in the gusset but the pants were too big and didn't hold the vibrator close enough to my clitoris to feel any stimulation. If I pressed the animal panties close to my clitoral area the sensation was great as the bullet did pack a punch but this defeated the object of having a secret sex toy when I would need to walk around massaging myself! The noise level was also disappointing and would exclude me from using them in public so all in all the animal panties were a high priced toy that didn't fit the bill! I did put a tighter pair of knickers over the top of the animal panties which did work a little better but this felt bulky and wouldn't allow me to go out with the bundle under my clothes.
